So, Almost done with prep on my Farmall H.Last night storm blew shop window open & got my sheet metal wet.This morning I already had rust showing up.Several days before the storm I used Must For rust,waited 10 minutes then rinsed it off and set it in the sun to dry.Must have rinsed too much.I thought I was doing it all ryte.Everything looked so good .Now what ?? thanks 4 the help!!
 
Never painted a rat before. How do you get them to sit still long enough to paint them.

If it was me I wouldn't worry about the recent rust. I would just go over it with a wire wheel or a disc with 220 paper and proceed with the primer. If you are really worried about it you might treat it with the must for rust again.
 
Sand it off--Must for Rust or anything else is not water proof. It is a rust preventative if kept dry. You can paint over it, but I prefer to at least scuff it off. I never wash it off. If sanding I would use 150 grit, then use epoxy primer. I assume that you are going to put sandable surfacer over the epoxy to get a smooth finish, it will cover any sanding scratches.
