Did PPG change the name of onmi paint to shopline?

No, certain stores get Shopline, the rest Omni. I think they are identical; although my dealer doesn't sell shopline, the instructions on the sheets are identical. I think it's just a sales thing to make people think the paint is better.

My dealer here told me that if a shop sells PPG exclusively then they sell shopline. If they sell other brands besides PPG then they sell Omni. Its just a marketing thing.But yes everything is identical between Omni and Shopline just different labels.
