MI muffler

hello,
I was wondering if I put one of those chrome mufflers on my john deere MI would it make for a better sound? I know most guys have them on a's, g's , d's r's and so on but they have larger motors..does anybody have one on theirs? if so how does it sound? should I do it?

I made a straight pipe for my MT when I pulled it once. It was pretty obnoxious. Muffler went back on the next day. This is from a guy who has a straight pipe on all my Case tractors.

ok thanks for your input..i guess these vertical motors handle cant the chrome pipes as well as the horizontal ones do.
