What primer has anyone had good luck with . Im using omni au acrylic urathane as top coat.

Omni 170 epoxy primer plus Omni 175 catalyst mixed 2:1 primer:catalyst.

Thanks for the info. Some of my parts are already primed with rustolium after blasting to keep them from rusting. Can you prime over the rustolium or do I need to reblast

The bottom layer is what is attached to the rim. Your decision, but I don't use Rustoleum for anything. What you will be doing is putting high dollar primer and high dollar topcoat over cheap primer.
