Fly in paint

As luck would have it, some type of fly landed in the final topcoat of a hood I painted. Any ideas on how to get him out now that the paint has dried? I attached a picture, hopefully it will upload. Thanks!

 I think the fly is probably already dead. Not much point in trying to rescue it now! :) :D

Actually, I think the only thing you can do now is wait for the paint to fully cure and then sand down that small spot and maybe fill it in with a touch-up brush.

Just sort of tends to get a guy really disgusted doesn't it?

Yep.. Guess that's the way it goes. :( I'll try to sand him out and carefully fill in with some paint. I think before he perished, he wollered around as much as he could to mess up the paint. :/

Hi
That fly really didn't do you any favors other than he didn't drown drinking your beer L.O.L.
It would of been better if he had bulldozed half way across your panel before death.
Then at least you would know it was a repaint instead of trying a touch in that might look ok. I've had this happen twice once was a repaint from the start due to a D9 fly and the other ended that way too as I messed up trying to touch the marks in.
All you can do is try. if it don't work you know what the answer is, and then hope the second time you don't get a run or something else wrong. Been there done that too.
Sometimes a guy should know when to quit while he's 90% ahead L.O.L.

When I painted my show car that happened to me. Maroon with pearl and flake in it. The fly was only attached by his back two legs. I REALLY wanted to devise some sort of torture for him to make him pay!

I pulled him out later. The two legs remained. If you didn't know it was there you would never find it - it has pulled first at every show. It still bothers me like crazy and that was 10 years ago. Bits of the legs were still there when I put it in storage last fall.

Redo.
