I am in the process of painting my 860 ford, what color is correct for the rear weights, front rims and centers of the rear?I believe the rear rims should be silver.

Thank You

You are right, the rear rims should be silver. Just don't use the aluminum stuff that rubs off on your hands, that looks redneck. And please paint your starter and genny red like the factory did. Front rims and rear centers are the same light gray as your hood. Don't paint them dark like 8Ns or the white of '63 on, or the slightly yellow gray of the XX1s. Your best bet is to take a panel that has not been repainted, clean it with rubbing compound, and take it to your jobber to get it digitally matched. Then you will have the correct one of the four. The weights should be the same gray, but I am going to paint the ones for this tractor red like another that I have.

Another try for the pic
