Restoring an A/C B . Painted the old fuel tank with stripper and uncovered a black painted band around the tank. Dad bought this tractor in 1949 and he would not paint it regardless of what it looked like. I cannot find any reference to this black. Dad is gone now. Was there an unknown paint job from the factory that was discontinued?
