low fume paint

My 3 young boys want to help me paint an old Farmall M (nothing fancy)is there a good paint that does not have a lot of smell or fumes?...thanks in advance

No, there is nothing considered safe for them to use. The closest thing you could use is to let them use an alkyd enamel without hardener. There is a health risk but would be minimal. Good ventilation would be the most important thing to minimize the health problems. It's the solvent vapors which are harmful. If you let them do it have them stand upwind from the part they are painting.
