Well, hopefully I didn't screw up too bad!

Misread my paint mixing instructions. Ratio was supposed to be 8 parts paint, 1 part catalyst, two parts reducer. Being in a hurry and tired etc. I mixed it 8 parts paint, two parts catalyst and one part reducer. It sprayed fairly well and looks good, but does anyone know what problems I might have down the road? The paint is DuPont Nason 2K urethane over Nason epoxy primer.

If it went on smooth and you are satisfied you didn't hurt anything. The reducer is supposed to give the right consistency and is also adjusted for temperature. Far as I know the 2X catalyst will just make it cure faster. If you get too much the paint might get "stiff" before you spray it. I messed up once and used epoxy catalyst instead of topcoat hardener, it still worked.

Wow, that makes me feel better!! It looks pretty good, though the hood orange peeled a bit (possibly due to my screwup or lack of skills or a combination of both). I should be able to wet sand it smooth though. If not at least I'll only have to re-shoot the hood rather than sand the whole tractor and all the parts down and redo. Thank you for your response!
