Some of the high end decal sellers have the location specs.
I always buy from Jorde's, but there are a few others.
Do not use the "packaged" decals from the part suppliers unless you do not care for originality.

Do you or someone you know have access to Two Cylinder magazine or original JD sales literature?

If so, check for original photographs and observe decals.

Seems always best to look at photographs as to how they were placed at the factory.
