i just painted my allis hd4 dozer. i have a few runs and need to remove them and repaint. what is the best way to do this without too much trouble ? thanks randal

Wait till it dries then either sand the run down or carefully cut it off and sand smooth. You will have to reshoot the panel/part. No way to buff it out.

Let the paint dry, then use a straight edge razor blade to scrape the run until smooth. then buff or repaint. if you try to sand it out, you will remove all the paint around it before the run is gone.

go to your local body shop supply store they have a outfit just for removeing runs in paint. It looks like a tiny wood plane,it uses a razor blade and just shaves off the run! cant be too costly its only plastic

Keep a roll of masking tape handy when painting that way if you get a run while it's fresh lift it off with the tape and then repaint. Just rip off a piece of tape and gently stick it onto the run and it lifts it off.
Too late for you now but remember for next time.
