what do the letters b d h l stand for on the ampmeter box and how is it positioned on there? The decal was included in the farmall H decal set. I am restoring my old H,have an ampmeter on the way and am trying to wire up the lights {not sure of that either} Thanks

It's LHBD, low charge, high charge, dim lights, bright lights. For an H with a cutout relay. Later models, about 1949-up have a voltage regulator, decal will read ODB, off, dim, bright.
