paint gun

I have a craftsman paint gun model 919155350. I used it and cleaned it with lac thinner and when I put it back toghter it spays but pulsates. Did I lose somthing when I took it apart?. all the o rings are in place ,need help.Bob

Is the vent in the cup open or plugged??

It sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Where the cup screws onto the body try wraping it with plumbers nylon tape and re-attach the cup. I've even had guns that wouldn't tighten up completely so I ended up glueing the cup assembly to the body of the gun with epoxy. The gun has to siphon the paint out of the cup and if there is a leak somewhere it's like drinking through a straw with a hole in it.

check to see if you have the fluid tip and the o-ring is on very tight.

It's the packing on the needle. Tighten the small nut.
