Ok, so if you had to choose between a white semi epoxy primer (which is sandable) or JD buff primer which would you pick? I will be using JD paint on top.

Thanks.

Use non-sandable (true) epoxy primer followed by a surfacer. What is the name of the sandable (semi)epoxy?

stay with the john deere primer unless you got supplyed air john deere primer might help you to live a little longer

True epoxy primers do not usually contain isocyanates, but best to check the MSDS to be sure. The PPG versions do not.

Thanks for the warning. I do have a supplied air system and don't know how I did it without it. What a lifesaver.
