hardened over non hardened paint

I am preparing to recoat with a different shade of red. I have it all scuffed and cleaned. I have a number of fasteners and small areas that are exposed that weren't painted first time around. The first coat had hardener added as will the new coat. The question is: I have been priming and painting those fasteners etc. with some of the paint from the first time that did not have hardener added, so as to not have to hit them so many times during the recoat. will the hardened new coat have any problems with the unhardened paint under?

If you mean bolt heads I wouldn't be too concerned because if the unhardened paint lifts the hardened you can always touch them up. As to the small areas, it depends on how much lifts, it may not at all. Cast in particular is easy to repair with a small brush.
