working on a wc allis in ag we have it primed may be be a couple of weeks before we can paint it due to we can only paint on weekends(odor) is this going to be to long? kinda concerned about it being to long any advice would be helpful |

| I believe what J.Wondergem is concerned about is if you used an epoxy primer the recoat window would expire in a couple of weeks. If it's epoxy you would need to scuff it and recoat with a fresh coat of epoxy primer before you topcoat. The recoat window would vary from brand to brand so you would need to refer to the data sheet on the primer. If you are using oil based primer and oil based topcoat you have nothing to worry about. |
