Cub wheel colors

So, what are the colors supposed to be when re-painting the wheels on a 1948 Cub? Nebraska test #386 for a 1947 showed all wheels as Red. As far as I can tell the entire tractor was originally Red, although some folks have taken artistic license with color scheme.

Here's a 1951 Cub and the front wheels are red.

I think they would look better silver. I painted my Farmall wheels yellow. Hal

they kind of look like this. fronts all red, rear rim was galvanized, the center was red

Takes some time but if you paint just the rim of fronts silver & center red it looks real sharp
