Air Hose Material

I have been running an oil less Craftsman compressor for awhile. For various reasons I upgraded to a IR Single stage reciprocating compressor. They stated that if I use their synthetic oil the warranty is increased to 2 years (I think), so I did.
After I installed the compressor and added the synthetic oil I ran the compressor without being hooked up to my air lines. When all checked out fine I checked the manual again to see if I missed anything and I noticed that there is a list of SUITABLE and NOT RECOMMNEDED downstream material when using synthetic oil.
The list are fairly long and I havent a clue what my hoses, filters etc are made of.
I will be using a Sharpe F88 Filter in combination with a Devilbiss Cam Air Q3 Filter/Dryer.
I assume that after the filters the air should be free of any oil contamination so that should not be a problem, but everything between the compressor and the filter setup, including the filters ($$$) are what I am concerned about.
Does anyone else have any experience with using the synthetic oil in there compressor ???
Is this something I should be concerned about ???
Should I switch to a different oil ???
Thanks...Alan

I'm using 5W30 synthetic in mine, because it is in the unheated area of my building, assuming the 5W is easier on the unit when started in cold weather. Air goes immediately into pipe and then through one or two filters until it gets to the hose. I wouldn't worry about it.

Your existing hose will probably be fine, but if you want some nice hose at a good price there is some "Amflo Field Repairable" hose listed on Ebay for $30. It is sold as Amflo, but the hose is stencilled Gates Python Plus which is an industrial push-on hose. The seller must have a bunch of it to sell because it"s been on there a while. I bought a roll last winter.
