The guys at Napa recommended this primer, Acme FP 410-2K HS urethane primer with the FH 411 hardener. Anybody use this stuff? Question is.. Do I need to sand it before I paint over it? And how long do I have to wait to paint? The can only tells you how to mix it.
Thanks.

I've never used it but a very quick web search yields the technical data sheet for it here. I would NOT consider it a good primer by itself. It's a so called "primer surfacer". As such, it really should have an etch primer or acid prep treatment under it to get decent corrosion protection - see the tech sheet. Also, as a surfacer type product, it is intended to be and should be sanded prior to topcoating. If it were me, I'd take it back and get a decent epoxy primer instead. And tell the guys at NAPA they should have told you about needing something under it - another cost. If they didn't tell you that, they don't know how to properly use what they are selling.
