clear coating decals

Wondering if anyone has clear coated there decals and how it turned out

Yes, if the paint isn't to "hot". I've seen doctored softball bats with the decals under clear coat so it must work.

It will work short term and maybe longer if the tractor is kept inside out of the sun. The decal will eventually shrink and pull a break at it's edges and that's where the weather will then get in under the clear edges and it will flake off. Also decals expand and contract at a different rate than clear coat. Eventually it will cost you. There is no advantage to clearing over a decal. Why ask for trouble?
