wagner airless sprayers

hi--i have a couple of tractors to paint. i have used air sprayers in the past, with good results. the last one was giving me fits. i saw
a wagner double duty sprayer on tv and thought that would be more convenient. has any one on here used a wagner or earlex sprayer to paint a tractor (and sheet metal) and if so--what kind of results did you have? thank you

The repair shop I use does all kinds of tractor restorations, and the wagner power painter is what they use. They say they get a lot less overspray and hardly any spray floating around in the air to get all over every thing in thier shop. They paint the frame and motor parts with it , but not the sheet metal that you want to look really nice.

Use a good spray gun, maintain it and adjust it correctly. Airless are more for house paint, will not give high gloss and are very hard to clean.

You should buy a good HVLP spray gun. You need a good compressor since they consume a lot of air, but you will like the final results. Hal
