36 hours JD paint

I have sandblasted removable parts from my JD 530. I am set up and ready to prime. I am Using JD paint. The can of JD Buff Primer calls for 36 hours of dry time before painting it with JD classic green. My question is, do I need to sand or scotch bite the primer after 36 hours and then lay down the green? Or can I just paint the green within a certain window of time after 36 hours before I need to sand?
Thanks for any input

No need to sand JD primer as that is for epoxy primer after a certain time. Best to follow the 36 hour dry time or solvent in the color coats will dissolve primer and you have a mess.
