Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with Devoe High Performance Coatings and their line of primers? One is Devran 205 universal epoxy primer, which appears to be an excellent industrial primer, topcoat-able with epoxy, urethane, polyester epoxy or alkyd paints. The local dealer, who carries the full line of Dupont AND Devoe products, has personally used a Devoe primer under Dupont Nason urethane paint on an automotive restoration, with great results (he says). He recommended I do the same on my JD 70 since the cost is around half.
I know the general rule is to 'stay within the brand' but I wonder just the same whether anyone has experimented in this way. Paul
