restored a wd45 few years ago. i too was confused with matching the a-c orange. finally removed the gauge cluster and inside was a perfect paint chip. matched up to that. no sun, no weathering made for a true factory color for that particular tractor. my napa paint guy eyeball matched, custom mixed, 1 gal of base. then i put 1 1/2 gal. clear over that. ended up with about 1 1/2 pints left over for future touch-ups 'cause color probably can't be duplicated.

A G would be Persian #1 which is the lighter Orange

You want the AC early Persian Orange. In PPG, the best match is 60080. In Dupont (including NASON), the closest I have seen (IMO) is YS074. That DuPont color is called Spectramaster Yellow. Don't let the name fool you. Do a search in this forum on YS074. Jason (ma) posted a visual comparison of that with PPG 60080 some time ago.
