OT airbags and repairables

Thinking about buying a cheap repairable car with minor damage to use as a commuter vehicle.

Most of the ones I have found have had driver's air bag deployed.

What addtional parts have to be replaced with with the airbag so it will function properly after the car is repaired?

The cars I'm looking at are late model GM cobalts, G6's, and honda civics.

most of them you need to replace the impact sensors in the impact area and also the derm module. many also have active restraint seatbelts that need to be replaced also. if you want shoot me an email with the specific car, year make model, 2 or 4 door ect and i can look it up on my estimating system at the shop, scan it and email it to you. for the late models, we had to upgrade to a new scanner to diagnose and clear air bag codes.
