Dent Removal

Starting to work the sheet metal on a JD 420, is there any reason I should not use heat (rosebud) to assist in removing the largest dents? Or is hammering cold the better way-thanks

Lose the heat! the metal on these is heavy enough to just use hammer and dolly and/or back -up.

like the other guys said (heat bad) plus other then the finished product looking terrible with heat bolt holes may not line up when your going back together
