Has anyone had any success using Awlgrip marine paint on a tractor. Pretty expensive, but holds forever. My brother-in-law painted a truck for me with it in 1987 and it is still as shiny as the day he painted it.

Awlgrip is a high quality urethane paint designed for marine use. The only difference between this product and any other urethane topcoat is the amount of uv protectant that is in the paint, due to the fact that boats are in the sunlight basically 24/7. You will have no problems with this product as long as the metal is prepared the same way you would with any other brand of urethane topcoat.

Never heard of it, but if it worked on a truck, it will work on a tractor. It is probably some formulation of urethane.
