Decals over new paint

How long should I wait before applying decals on a freshly painted tractor. As a point of reference, metals was stripped bare, primed with PPG Epoxy Primer then shot 4 times with PPG Concept with a clearcoat added on the final round. Looks GREAT....but don't want to apply the decals too early - - if there is such a thing as too early. :)

if you used hardner, i would wait 24-48 hours. if you did not use hardner, wait 6-7 days to be on the safe side. get some sun on the paint too to be sure all the solvents flash off. you would prolly be ok after a couple days, but i"d lean toward the side of caution and give it about a week.

With the cheap oil enamels, a year isn't long enough but with the urethane paints you're safe after 72 hours. That is of course, if the decal adhesive is urethane based. (But most are.)

Where's the pictures?
