I was wondering if anyone had any information on crossing over Adams engine numbers back to detroit diesel models?
I'm looking to get a front seal for the motor but am having trouble identifying exactly what it is (Agkits is requesting a detroit model number). It appears to be a 3 cylinder RC configuration but I'm not sure on displacement. The engine tag and block stamp list it as a Model: 3057-C Serial: 3A-45956 (with the block stamp adding the 'RC' layout designation.
The stamp is in the location for a 71 series from what I can tell, front right hand side of engine.
Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
