I bought a BF Avery A with mag how do I set mag and points. I open up the mag area to check points. And I moved the rotor little before I realized what I had done.

I suggest you might do some Google searching for your timing issues. Most all old tractors with mags are
much the same. Nice looking tractor you have picked up, someone has modified a grille from something else
and bolted it on the front. There were two versions of the grill shell for model A Avery tractors and
neither one looks like what you have.
