Glow Plugs not hooked up - can I hookup with switch?

Can I hook the glow plugs to + side of battery with a "starter like" switch - without some kind of resistor or fuse?

Foton 3 cylinder diesel 254A Glow Plugs are in place but do not seem to be hooked to the battery (see video please).

You really need to use a solenoid in the line to feed the glow plugs. They draw a heavy load and would soon burn up the start button contact.
