So I received this walk behind Planet Jr from my Grandfather's estate after his passing. To be honest I had never heard of that name before. I don't know much about it. But I do know that it's very heavy and akward to handle. Also I'm pretty positive that there is somebody that would love to have this in there collection. I Know that my Grandfather kept it stored in his barn as long as I can remember.can somebody help me out with any information on it. Thank you

What is it you want to know? I have over a dozen of them. Planet Junior comes from the same company that used to make Flexible Flier snow-sleds like I rode when I was a kid 60 years ago. When I was a farm equipment mechanic in Florida New York in the 70s, many Polish onion farmers were still using Planet Juniors in their seed beds It is a fairly common walk-behind tractor.

If it has a Toro engine instead of a Briggs & Stratton it is more of a rarity.

Not to hijack the thread but I have a planet jr I cannot get to run worth a darn. I have a 6s Briggs with a three leg armature. Do you know if there is a different flywheel I can use to convert to a magnetron? I am at the point of getting rid of it if I cannot get it going. What would be a price range for these it rough but not destroyed condition with a couple cultivators?

I have the dual magnet flywheel so the magnetron won't work. I need a three leg type armature or a different flywheel that will fit

I just bought one of these the other day. Completely original down to the spark plug. Looks like it was stored in a barn or garage for the past 60+ years. Had a stuck valve, but after fixing that it runs smooth as can be. It's an HT with the Toro engine and cultivator setup. Interesting that you should mention Florida, NY, since I got it not too far from there.

Does anyone know where to find the manual it would've came with?

Thanks
