255 Leyland PTO don't work

255 Leyland PTO doesn't work. Its not the last one that you hook up driveshafts to. Its the next section in the transmission more. Are those hard to take apart. How long would this take to fix, is it very complicated?

No, drain the trans fluid, unbolt the pto/hyd unit and lift off the back. There is a splined engagement sleeve inside that can wear and cause none engagement of the pto. a reasonably common fault, and there was a factory mod to fix it back in the day, but i don't think you will get one now.
