Hello. I have a JCB Mark III D mid 75-76 backhoe with the Brit leyland 98nt. On this ole girl is a cav DPA 3342F250 injector pump. I have fuel leaking out of the weep hole below flange bolts and front chain cover. Has to be shafts seal? Anyone familiar with this pump and it's removal? I think there is timing marks somewhere? Thanks for any help. Clay

there is a 5/16 hole in the bell housing above the starter you have to turn the flywheel until you can push a pin
through the hole into the flywheel. then take off the tach drive housing there should be a shaft with a slot in it find
a flat washer that fits over the shaft and weld something on the washer that can be used as a pointer. the place i
worked had a broken end off a flat screw driver welded on the washer. there should be a mark in the top of the housing
that the point should aline with. i believe the pointer should be just a bit advanced of the mark. the pump drive is
gear driven not chain you may have to take the pump drive gear off to get the pump out. its been a few years since ive
workrd on one
