Hough Payloader Paylomatic H25

1> Yesterday, I bought a Hough Payloader Paylomatic H25. I don't know what year is it, and I can't find a label. The previous owner(s),
apparently, claim it ran and they drove it into the building where it sat.

2> It's a diesel. With ether, it acts like it might run, but it doesn't seem to get fuel. There is fuel from the pipe to the injector/punp (I/P), I guess it is, but it doesn't come out of the I/P at the pipe to the cylinder.

3> With a cover off the rear of the I/P, on the left rear of the motor near the radiator fan at the rear of the machine, a round, concave thing, about the size of the cover, can be seen rotating. I suppose that means the I/P seems is getting drive-power. There is a rod with spring-pressure sticking out of the middle of the round, concave thing, which fits into or has worn a round, shallow hole into the inside of the cover. I have no idea for what is the rod.

4> Has anyone a manual for the old beasty, or advice or knowledge about what should I try next?

5> Where could I get parts to rebuild the injector, if that's what it needs?

Well, can't help much..some parts catalogs show Hough listings, others say "Hough-See IH"...a couple parts catalogs say original engines in Hough H25 were Wauk 180GL (gas) or 180DLC (diesel), but they also show an H25B (aka H25 Series B) which also came with (in addition to the Wauks) the IH D188 engine.
I don't have anything on the D188 as how to ID it; I have a Wauk parts book for the 180DLC which shows it's an OHV 31/2x33/4 (self-serving commercial: $5 + mlg if you need one; email for desc.). If the D188 probably one on EBay, or a new reprint from binderbooks; if yours is one of the IH Houghs, binderbooks would have the manuals. Good luck.

(Sigh)...just looked at another catalog, which says the H25 Series B also came with IH 153BC engine, but I would assume it"s a gas.

It is a little hard to say what motor you might have, my guess is a waukeshaw or a IH, try fresh fuel and a new or good battery, check battery cables and the ground to engine. If it spins fast and does not fire might try compression check. Don't screw with pump untill you have to, open injectors and bleed. One at a time, then try either if you must. Look for the simple fix before pulling more hair out. Good Luck
