Belarus injector Pump - help have question

Here is where I have the leak. It's squirting fuel out from the large "cap". I'm gonna remove the 2 screws and see if it comes off.

(quoted from post at 10:53:35 04/24/16) Looks like a capped, unused tach drive.

Probably a bad seal or O-ring in there.
The tach works well. Not sure where it's hooked up but not on the injector pump. I took it off and looked it over and cleaned it up and put it back on. Stopped leaking until I revved the engine a little and then that made it start squirting fuel out again. Didn't leak at normal idle.

Just to clarify I took it off via the 2 flat head screws. It removed the whole round peice and flange.

Looked in parts book, flat gasket under 2 screw flange; O ring (maybe flat) under the cap. Bearing under the flange and some sort of adjustment under cap. Guess that adjusts the backlash on the bevel gears, saying that I would not fool with the adjustment screw under the cap. Or if you must, mark and count number of turns to remove. Most of what I wrote is based on the parts manual and what I can remember of rebuilding one years ago.

Did you read my reply below about draining the fuel and reoiling the pump?Your pump cavity for lubrication has filled up with fuel.

That fixed it!! Thank you! A YouTube video that goes over the maintenance on these tractors showed the location of the plug.

I just washed it and now it looks like a NOS Belarus 250AS. Only 150 original hours is amazing to find. Would yall know how to look up the serial numbers? Mine is 67xxx
