I just bought this 250AS - kind of like it as my first tractor. Seems to work pretty well. My primary issue with it is that the toe is way off - probably about 2 inches front to rear each front wheel. There's not enough adjustment in the steering linkage.
So I took out the bolt that clamps the two tubes together - very easy to get the wheels aligned by sliding the tubes into each other... however the inner 'tube' has a notch for the bolt.
So... my options are
1. cut a new notch, (easy fix) - but cover up some other major issue
2. Maybe a problem with one of the hubs/connectors.
Any collective wisdom from you tractor gurus?
Thanks!
Andy
