I just bought a Pasquali tractor. I think it is a 993, but not sure. It has been sitting quite a while. I have been checking it over. One thing I found that is extremely important, and could happen over only a few days, is that the engine shrouding was packed full with a mouse nest.
The engine (Ruggerini) has a removable plate on the shroud with 6 screws. I took it off for inspection and it was completely full of debris.
If you run them like this you could ruin the engine quickly. Always look to see if any stuff starts to blow out between the cooling fins when you start an air cooled engine.

The tractor doesn't charge. It has an alternator built into the flywheel like a Briggs, maybe the mouse pee got to it. Will probably mount a belt drive alt.

Lucky you. I have a vineyard tractor of this type but my tractor is a CAST. Is amzing what these little tractor can do. I've had more fun driving my tractor that I've had in years driving a tractor.

Right. First I am checking and adjusting, greasing and oiling everything I can figure out. The park brake was frozen, got that fixed. Have to mount an alternator in the next couple weeks. It came with a logging winch, I will have to try that out. It is strange as it bolt right to the back of the tractor PTO opening and sticks back about 2', totally independent of the 3pt hitch.
