WARDS FARM TRACTOR

I have been looking for a Wards farm tractor with fluid drive. I have placed wanted ads, but no replies. Any suggestions as to where one can find a Wards? Thanks for any and all help. 419-303-8682

You're probably asking too narrow a question---
Re-post your inquiries along the lines of '...looking for Wards CO-OP Design Chrysler-engined Fluid drive tractor built by Custom Tractor Co/Lowther/Lehr? etal..."...
My CO-OP file is mislaid somewhere, but i believe the only differences in the various tractors (Custom, Lehr Big Boy, Wards, Jumbo, Regal, Rockol ad nauseum) were decals and paint...
Oh, wait...I do find a note that Wards first year (1953?) had models HR, HW, ER, EW, but the note fails to mention whether those included the Wards Twin-Rows, which were NOT Chry-Cptn Fluid Drive models...
If you're not familiar with the history just google Custom Tractor Co...

Thanks for your comments Bud. I believe anyone with a Wards with a fluid drive would know what I an looking for. I realize they are fairly rare.

I have owned 3 Wards tractors but they are gone now...They aren't easy to find.....A friend has my Wards HR but he won't sell it...I have original sales literature for them..

I'm first in line but he doesn't want to sell...The first picture was taken in 1972 when my friend bought it and painted it..The second picture is me on it in 1970.....I bought it all original at a farm sale in 1969 at DeSoto,KS....It had a 2 row cultivator on it..It sure would be nice to have it back the way it looked in 1969..

My Wards ER is back in Illinois where I first bought it and the other HR I had is in southern MO..

Thanks 1206SWMO for the pictures. Brings back memories of my brother when he was service manager of the local Wards Farm store in 1951.
