thinking about parting out Long 445

My long 445 recently threw a rod. Got it apart and found I need new crankshaft, oil pump, main clutch and a complete rebuild kit.
all said I'm looking at about $2500 for parts and labor.
I'm just looking to see if anyone else with a long tractor has an opinion if its worth fixing. And on the flip side, if anyone has an idea if there is a market out there for used long parts. The tractor has a front end loader on it also which i have no idea what its worth or what other tractor it would work with.

I'm undecided right now. Just considering my options. I'm located in central pa. I need to talk to some more people to get an idea of what its worth.

Without talking to anyone I would say I paid $4500 for the tractor about 5 years ago minus $2500 to fix it would be about $2000.

Depending on the tractors overall condition and the rear tires that price is probly a little high. I am in Wisconsin so I would have a fair ways to come to get it. If you could get closer to a grand it might be worth my time. think it over and let me know. Email is open, phone is 2626295985.

Thanks for the interest but I don't think I'm ready to that low yet. I'll keep your number though just incase nothing else pans out. I'll post some pictures soon.

I got a 1980 2wd 610 (tractor only no
loader) that had an engine rebuild about
50 hrs ago from my FIL for $3500. He was
asking $5500 and didn't get any calls if
that gives you any idea

That is good info. Thanks. I've been getting a lot of second opinions lately and I think I might be in better shape then originally thought. Turns out the crankshaft and rod might be able to be salvaged and i might only need new rings for the cylinder. Have to take the crank and rod to shop to find out for sure. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for the post.
