Hey all, long time lurker... finally made an account. Thanks to all for the advice I've gleaned over the years by just hanging around.
I recently bought a Deutz D6806 and after massive TLC, the engine and tranny are running great. Despite a couple of issues with the tractor, I like it overall.
Here's the problem though:
The hydraulic remotes don't do squat. When I try to use them, all I get is a sort of grinding whine sound from under the seat (where the hydraulic control is). Steering is smooth and 3pt. seems to work just fine. I'm a little unsure about how exactly the system runs and don't really want to tear it apart without some ideas of what the problem might be. I have the operators manual and parts manual (both clear as mud/have what seems to be conflicting info). Really trying to avoid springing for the (very expensive) service manuals. Anyone have a service manual they could take a gander at for me or any experience with the model and hydraulics?
