Bought the tractor with loader on it. Do you think the loader is a bit big for the tractor ?

I was also wondering if anyone could help me with the hydraulic filter. I went and bought one I found coming off the front pump and I assume it is for the front loader. Is their another for the lift arms and so forth ? Do you remove it and clean it. ?

I don't know about the loader but would like to see pics of the splitter and a little info on it.

AFAIK the filter is the only one for loader/gearbox/rear diff/rear hydraulics & arms. i.e all the transmission & hydraulic systems share the same oil. Power steering, front hubs & diff are separate & obviously engine. I use Universal Tractor oil (10/30) everywhere in mine, except for EP90 in front diff & hubs.

Most of those Fiat Longs have a separate pump for the loader bolted to the rear just above the PTO shaft.Some have a separate resvoir for the power steering some draw the fluid for the PS out of the rear end on the same line the tractor hydraulics use.
