A funny thing happened on the way to view an auction,,

I spotted a David Bradley Tri-Trac being driven around a guy's front yard. I know where he bought it, and it's for sale, but he thinks he can get $3000 for it. I think that's a bit much, but if anyone's interested I can get his phone number. Located East of Burson, California.

First one I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing.

Weren't they sold by Monkey Wards? What year would that have been?

It's cute, and probably a fair starting price if you're a collector on what looks to be a nice paint job (at least), but I'd rather have an Allis G, or a MH Pony, or something else more common and useful.

They were made for and sold by Sears & Roebuck in 1954. They had a big problem as they would tip over very easily. They are quite collectable. If you had some of the many implements with it your price of $3000.00 is not far off. They are a fun machine.

Nice looking outfit. I'll bet you'd have to look long and hard before you'd ever find another one for sale at any price.

The price isn't too fur out of line.
I sold one aboot 10 years ago with the turning plow, and I got 2K then.
Sears Roebuck owned the David Bradley factory till the govment made them sell it. They said that Sears couldn't be a manufacture and a retailer both, so they sold the DB wyrks to Roper Industries.
