Huber Museum in Marion Ohio

I am trying to contact the Huber Museum. Their phone message says they are open by appointment and I can not get there on the Saturday that I am in the area.

I will try calling again this coming Saturday.

The local tractor club has a 1917 Huber Light 4 tractor in sad shape. I have found pictures of what it is suppose to look like but I would like some more information.

Has anyone been there lately? Do they have a Light 4? I would like to take pictures.

I received a call from someone at the museum this morning. We made arraignments to visit at 1pm, this Friday.

I am looking forward to this trip.

So how did it go? I live about 12 miles from there, usually stop by once a year during the fair as it sits on the fairgrounds property.

I met some very helpful people at the museum.

A I mentioned, I went looking for information about the Light 4 tractor. They had one in their huge display room and I was able to get close and take close up pictures that may help when putting our tractor together.

I wish I could have spent more time looking at the large variety of equipment as well as the "history room".

They had a lot of books with serial numbers and date of manufacture which showed that ours was made in January 1921, not 1917 like we thought.

I was hoping to find, but did not really expect, a parts diagram like more modern equipment.

I signed our club up as a member of the museum and bought some decals at their gift shop in case we ever get paint on our pile of parts.
