Coolant leak repair recommendations

Kubota B6000 has coolant leak w/ coolant getting into oil pan. I replaced the head gasket this spring... did not resolve problem. I am considering my options. Sell as is w/ known problem OR Try to seal the leak w/ some sealant product. It appears to be a slow leak and has leaked about 1 pint since early spring. I am seeking recommendations (good/bad)based on experiences that other readers may have had. TIA for and help offered. Ken B

I'm not sure on your model but on bigger tractors you could be getting coolant from the oil cooler or leaking around the piston liners. When you replaced the head gasket did you have the head checked for cracks and trueness? Any chance it froze?

I was able to find a leak on a 2440 by taking the oil pan off and using a radiator pressure tester I rented, loan a tool, from advance auto. Pressurize the coolant system and see if you can see where the coolant is coming from. In my case it was a liner leaking but my leak was quite a bit more than a pint a season.

You could try the stop leak wont hurt anything but in my experience it fails at the most inconvenient time possible.

I did not have the head checked when I replaced the head gasket. No chance that this engine froze.

You need to pull the oil pan and pressurise the cooling system
and see where it is coming from. On many engines the water
pump can do it.
