Long Model A

Picked up a model A Long with wide front. Also got a extra damaged parts tractor. It also had wide front but axle broke off damaging frame. First is serial 4995 290 2565 other is 4903 194 2478. Both have Continental motors.

Those tractors were built in 1948 & 1949. No info on serial numbers. The first numbers you posted may be the year they were built in 1949. Hal

Pictured Long is a 1949 #290 and other parts cone is also 1949 and is # 194

My late sister graduated from high school in 1949.
I should've graduated in 1950, but my class was the first to have a twelfth grade in MD. All the young men in my 1951 class served in the military. Some enlisted in the Navy, most in the Air Force & Army that were drafted including
me. My brother joined the Air Force. Hal
PS: This was taken at Ft Bragg NC where I spent my hitch.
