1939 Toro Bullit aka Allen Tractor (See Photo)

I am looking for information, pictures, manuals, anything that looks like this tractor. Made by Toro for pulling golf course gang mowers. They also made a Master version that had a dump box behind.

Many versions of this have been made over the years using Ford, Hercules, and others to power them. Basically I am interested in 1939-1941 that had the large cast aluminum grill.

I have seen that picture. It is a preproduction model they used to photograph for an upcoming expo in 1939. None that I have seen looked exactly like that one, there were several changes made, the biggest was going to the Qxb3 6 cly. engine.

Any idea if the used that engine in any other tractor?

We just sold one that looked just like the pre-production picture. It was short wheel base, single rear wheels, had a cycle bar mower on it, six cylinder hercules engine, but was in very rough condition. The hood and panels were pretty good, but that's about it. Would have loved to have restored it, have restored tractors in as bad a shape, but didn't know when I'd ever find the time as we have other tractors to do. Feel bad, but hope someone does something with it. It needed so much work, a transmission, plus so much more.
