Silver King R44

I just started checking over a Silver King tractor. Based on a quick internet search I'm guessing it is about a 1939.

Does anyone know where the serial number is located and have a list linking serial number to year?

What size battery does it use? I'm assuming 6V, but I still don't know the size.

Is the condenser suppose to be on the outside of the distributor?

Are points and condenser kits available? What is the point gap or dwell?

I would appreciate any help I can get answering these questions.

Hello, the serial number is located on the bottom edge of the transmission on a brass tag. Yes the original battery would be 6v. www.silverkingtractors.com has the serial number list for each year of production.
