Long 2360 w/ farm all b/hoe

I have to bungy my automatic control lever to get my back hoe to work. I am not tractor savey. I just got the back hoe and need to know where to start looking to solve my problems. Hydraulic fluid is good , no leaks. love my tractor and do not want to tear it up .. Help please

Farmall Backhoe ? New to me and I cut my teeth on IH.

DOES NOT SEEM UNUSUAL TO OPEN HYD VALVE AND "BUNGY" IT TO FEED HYDRAULIC POWER TO BACKHOE. To avoid that some tractors have a hyd. "power beyond" port to feed an attachment.
Not familiar with LONG 2360. Does it look like a FORD and if so which Ford model ?

This is a common practice. Another alternative is to install a slip on PTO hyd pump and a separate reservour. This would be plumbed into the backhoe hydraulics and would be removed from the tractor along with the backhoe. This could be expensive but it would be WAY faster.
