Long Model A

Interesting ! Was not familiar with LONG Model A. Looked it up on Tractor Data and reminds me of a Farmall H. Tractor Data shows Model A built 1948-1949. However it says no Serial # Data ! I have two other sources but came up empty on those so can't help with production data or numbers. My guess is not many produced so may be a rather rare tractor ?
Hopefully we will find someone with more info.

I've got a picture of one in my files, but I don't have any idea who it belongs to.

Pretty sure they had the Timken rear like the Cockshut 30 and a Chrysler 6 cylinder engine, several similar tractors were built like them just after WWII.Built in NC as was an even more obscure similar tractor the Corbitt.

Easy on the satire there, Harv. Kinda clever though, I guess. Have you ever thought of lo-crops like they made for peanuts, parsnips, potatoes, and sugar beets instead of hi-crops, might be cheaper until the fad catches on......
